About Fiona

Hi, I’m Fiona. I am an Accredited Licenced Coach and Trainer with a genuine interest in people.

I believe that everyone has the capability to bring about powerful change in their life in their own unique way. Sometimes, all it takes is a little help to really get to know yourself, become fully acquainted with your thoughts, feelings and patterns of behaviour and find your strengths and capabilities that you may have even forgotten exist.

For over 25 years I have worked in the field of social and economic development, with an emphasis on people development and creating equal opportunities for everyone in our communities, including the more vulnerable. In practical terms this has meant on the one hand creating equal access to education, training, employment or enterprise development whilst on the other hand building confidence and capacity of people to equally participate in the opportunities that present, so they have every chance of a successful outcome for themselves.

My work has always been based on the principles of empowering others, assisting individuals, groups, communities and organisations to become stronger and more confident in planning what they want to achieve and decide how they are going to get there.

A portion of my career extended to managing Family Support Services which included Counselling for adults and Play Therapy for children, facilitating access to personal support for vulnerable families.

My formal education includes an M.A. in Sociology: Work, Labour Markets and Employment; Diploma in Coaching with Neuroscience; Certificate in Professional Coaching Practice and Ethics; and Certificate in Training & Development. I hold similar qualifications in Rural Development, Social Studies and Community Development.

I have a love of the mountains and I am a qualified Mountain Leader offering the opportunity to guide individuals and groups into extraordinary and inspiring places.

Approach to Coaching

To the coaching space I bring a natural curiosity and positive energy. We work together to help you uncover your strengths, take charge of your own decisions and open your mind to see options and possibilities that you may not have already considered. I provide you with a supportive, non-judgemental yet challenging space. I believe in every client I work with.

I work face to face with clients or online through Zoom.

If you are feeling stuck, confused or want to change direction and find it difficult to know what to do next… get in touch to arrange a free consultation.
